MELONI
With heavy hearts we said goodbye to our dear father, Frank Meloni, on March 10, 2014. He was born July 10, 1923 to Julio and Mary Boldreghini Meloni in San Antonio. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Margaret Meloni; brother, Leo B. Meloni; sisters: Irma Pantuso and Margaret DeBandi; and just last year, he lost his beloved wife of 60 years, Marge Meloni. He is survived by his children: Shelly Erceg (Ken), Nancy Bielefeldt (Doug), David Meloni (Cari),and Ron) Meloni (Paige); 8 grandchildren: Matt & Katie Erceg, Aaron(Brooke) and Ryan Bielefeldt, Ian and Lily Meloni, and Jacob & Abigail Meloni; 2 great grandchildren: Tahlia Serna and Luke Bielefeldt, "honorary" children, Cindi & Mark Lombardi; brother, Louis Meloni (Isabel); nephew Frank Pantuso (Ann); and many more family members and friends. Dad served in the Army during WWII, attended Sam Houston State in Huntsville, TX and Memphis Academy of Fine Arts in Memphis, TN. His earliest job was working with his Dad and brothers at Meloni's Ice Station on Austin Hwy. was an amazin dancer and some may remember him as the "Dancing Waiter" at the Pearl Pavillion during HemisFair. He enjoyed playing Thirty-one, going fishing in Rockport, and going on picnics with his family to Brackenridge Park. We like to believe that he is dancing with Mom in heaven while being serenaded by Ray Price.
