Willard Lee 'Bill' Doyle passed on March 14th 2014 at the age of 84.

Survived by his wife, Frances Doyle and Two Daughters: Pegi Doyle and Kathleen Cornett, their husbands: Marc Keltner and Steve Cornett. Bill had 2 Granddaughters: Christie Mathis & husband Christian, Candy West and husband Mark and one Grandson: Leemichael Doyle. Bill had 6 great-grandchildren: Mark West Jr., Rylee West, Emilee West, Madison Doyle, Katie Doyle and Lili Doyle. Bill is also survived by his brothers: Manny Doyle, Fred Doyle, Tommy Sinclair and Norman Doyle and his sister: Billy Jean Slaney - all from Louisiana.

Bill was born in Oakdale, Louisiana on Jan 24th, 1930. He was one of 8 children of Seab and Ivory Doyle (long since passed). He served his country in the United States Air Force for 21 years and then had a successful career as an Allstate Insurance Agent for 33 years. But his main job was focusing on being an incredible Father and Husband and caring for his family. Quick to smile or tell a joke, often called 'Wild Bill', he loved to play his guitar and sing old Country Songs like: "Hang down your head Tom Dooley" or "Put another log on the Fire". Bill loved life and sharing with others. He loved to Fish, and owned many boats throughout the years, and he was infected by the disease called 'Golf' which occupied a lot of his time. He attended St. Mary's University.
He died on March 14th, 2014 at Silver Leaf Rehabilitation Center where he was a resident for only 3 weeks after a difficult fall that quickly advanced his Parkinson's.

Viewing will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm on Monday March 17th, 2014 at Schertz Funeral Home at 2217 FM 3009 in Schertz, TX 78154 (210) 658-9224. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday March 18TH, 2014 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church at: 16075 N Evans Rd. Selma, TX (210) 651-6811 and then he will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery located at 17501 Nacogdoches Road San Antonio, TX 78266 (approx.. 1 mile outside loop 1604) (210) 651-6011.
