NAVARRO
Alex David Navarro, age 22, went to be with the Lord and to reunite with his mother, Monica Ann Padgett, at the gates of Heaven on Thursday, March 20, 2014. Alex was born on January 31, 1992 in San Antonio to his parents, Monica and Alex. He was given the nickname "Chino" by his family, because of his head full of curls, this name stuck with him into his adult life. Alex graduated in 2010 from Southwest Preparatory School in San Antonio. Alex loved to play jokes, just to make people laugh, he was a true jokester. Spending time with family and friends made him happy. He enjoyed playing video games, cards, and dominos, but his main passion was for the game Connect Four. Those close to Alex would have remembered him joking about wanting a belt made up entirely of Connect Four chips. He said having extra chips would be perfect anytime someone wanted to play, but lost a chip or two. All he would need to do is take one off of his belt to use. Alex will be forever missed by his family and friends. We are left with fond memories and his beautiful spirit will live on. Alex is survived by his parents, Alex and Patricia Navarro; sisters, Felicia, Destiny and her husband, Jose; Ashley and Anamarie; brothers Demetri and Giovanni; great-grandmother, Erlinda Martinez; grandparents, Nora & Sam Reynosa; Robert Padgett; Hilda Navarro and Olivia Ramirez.
Friends and family will be received from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, March 27, 2014 for a Holy Rosary, and viewing will continue until 9:00p.m.
