COUNCIL
Adrian Margie Council, 77 years old, of San Antonio, Texas, peacefully passed away on March 21, 2014, surrounded in her living room by her life partner and three generations of their children. Adrian was born in McAllen, Texas on February 9, 1937, the daughter of the late Margie and Floyd (FD) Council. She was called home by her Mama, who passed nine years earlier, to the day. She is also pre-deceased by her father and her brother, Dwayne Council. Adrian and George Smith were parents to Cheryl Meyer (Jo Bell) of Toronto, Canada, Kellye Robertson (Michael) of Bulverde, Texas, and Cyndi Brumfield (Eric) of Friendswood, Texas. Additionally, Adrian and George raised granddaughters Kayla and Kyndell Valdez. A cheerleader her whole life, Adrian was head cheerleader for the New Braunfels Unicorns in 1954, and a life-long die-hard fan of the Texas Longhorns and her beloved Spurs. She earned her degree in accounting from UTSA in1987. Adrian was devoted to her work with the Lions Club, and to her crazy and life-giving friendships with the JBs. She was a fun and loving grandmother to Rory and Rachel, Brent and Samantha and Dwayne, Kayla and Kyndell and Chance; and great grandmother to Lainey Grace and Jimmy.
