WARNER
Bruce A. Warner was born on October 30, 1939 and was called to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 23, 2014. Bruce retired from the United States Airforce after 23 years, then went on to retire from North Side Independent School District after 20 plus years. He enjoyed playing golf and making memories with his friends and family. He had a deep love for the Lord and was called to be involved in prison ministry. His ultimate favorite time was being with his family and spending his last years with his grandchildren. Every one that knew him will miss him dearly, most of all, his loving wife, who knew him to be a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He will always be in the hearts and memories of his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Stella M. Warner; 2 daughters Debbie and husband Frank Abel, Catherine and husband Chris Smith; 2 sons Bruce Jr. and wife Nancy, Steven and wife Brenda; 9 grandchildren David Stephenson, Evan and Maegan Abel, Ian, Eric, Reid, Elijah and Luke Warner and Eason Smith, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his cousins and their families in New York, his nephews with their families in Ohio and his family by marriage and friends in San Antonio.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 12:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 9:30 a.m with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors. All services will be held at Castle Ridge Mortuary. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans www.dav.org
