Marie Tallerico

The Guest Book is expired.

Marie A. Tallerico went to be with our Lord in Heaven on April 15, 2014. Marie was born on March 26, 1924 on Long Island, New York. Marie graduated from Katie Gibbs, a prestigious Business School for Women. She married Bernard J. Tallerico soon after WWII where he was a P.O.W. in Germany for 18 months. They soon had 5 wonderful children together and enjoyed 45 amazing years of marriage.
Marie was very involved in her grandchildren's education along with her daughter Stephanie. She spent fifteen years as a V.I.P. in the East Central I.S.D. She was a Teacher's Assistant and Room Mother. Her favorite was the reading programs. She taught First Aid which later was replaced by the H.O.S.T.S. Program. The students at John Glenn Elementary School loved her so much, they would rush to give and get a hug when they saw her.
Marie lived as a devoted Catholic, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother dedicated to Church and family. She spent many weekends preparing the spaghetti dinners at San Francesco Di Paola Catholic Church. Now even in her passing, she is still giving back. In lieu of flowers Marie insisted that everyone give to the Wounded Warriors Foundation in honor of her husband Bernard Sr., her brother Joseph Caggiano, uncle Sebastian Gaudiosi; son Bernard Jr., grandson Otto Tallerico, family friends, and to all men and women who serve in the military for this great country.
Marie is survived by her brother Alfonce Rocco and wife Jeanne, her sisters Mary Gerald, Dorothy Selzer and husband Craig, son Bernard Tallerico Jr., son Dr. Daniel Tallerico and wife Mary Ellen, daughters Stephanie Krawitz and husband George, Mary and husband Dr. Fernando Bazan, Lucille Crapps and husband Van, Ten grandchildren, and Thirteen great grandchildren.
