PEREZ
Rosa (Rosita) Gonzales Perez born in Kingsville, Texas in 1933, went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2014 at the age of 81. She is preceded in death by her mother Ana Gonzales and father Ernesto Gonzales, and her grandson Sebastian Constancio. Ms. Perez is survived by her husband of 55 years Elias Perez, Sr., her 7 children Elias Perez, Jr (Maria), Richard Edward, Yvonne "Bonnie", Joe Henry (Doris), Yvette Lorea (John), John Phillip (Vivian), Kevin Lee (Grabiela), 19 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren. She met her husband, Elias at the Driscoll hotel in Corpus Christi, Texas where she worked as a laundry worker. In 1963, she moved from Corpus Christi, Texas to San Antonio, to join her husband who had been working at Kelly Air Force Base. She devoted her early years as a stay at home wife and mother. She loved to sew and spent most of her working years as a seamstress with San Antonio Dress Co., Levi's and Sterns & Foster. She was a school crossing guard at Gillette elementary, a Girl Scout leader and volunteered with the Women's Auxiliary Fire department. She was full of life, adventurous, and enjoyed camping, spending time at the beach and in her garden. In honor of our beloved grandmother, the pall bearers will be her 8 oldest grandsons: Elias III, Jason, Patrick, Christopher, Joel, Frank, Robin and John Michael.

Services
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. ~ 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Name Catholic Church. Services will conclude at the church.
