Leroy Clarence Klima
Leroy C. Klima was born March 5th 1918 and returned to his Creator April 25, 2014. He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, William & Ella Klima. Leroy was also preceded by his Aunts and Uncles, his first wife Elizabeth Ann Dyer Klima, Daughter Linda Klima Hunter and Step- Son Steve Black. He is survived by: his second Wife Mary Ellen Klima, Son Leroy (Lee) Klima in Baltimore, MD, Son-in-Law Tim Hunter, Federal Way, WA, Grand Son Austin Scott Hunter and Wife Jeri, Federal Way, WA, Step-Daughter Pam Brenner, Husband Robert (Bob) Brenner San Antonio, TX, Step-Son John Black, San Antonio, TX, and Brother-in Law George Dyer and Wife Susan, Dallas, TX. Grand Children: Brian Brenner and Wife Rachel, Arlington TX, David Brenner and Suzanne Brenner both from San Antonio, TX, Great Grand Son Jayden Brenner, San Antonio, TX, Niece Alice Janak and Husband Gregory, Grand Niece Stacie & Grand Nephew Daniel all of Hallettsville, TX, Niece Kathleen Tseng and Husband Alex, Grand Niece Laura Tseng all of Glen Rose, TX. Leroy retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. after more than 41 years. He was a member of Communication Workers of America Union, and Telephone Pioneers. He was a member and Deacon of Baptist Temple Church & a regular member of the Church Choir. Viewing will be on Tuesday April 29th, at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South& Cemeteries, from 5-7 pm. Services will be held at Baptist Temple Church, 901 E. Drexel, San Antonio, TX at 10:00 am on Wednesday April 30th at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Mission Park South. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions in Mr. Klima's name to Baptist Temple Church, San Antonio, TX, the San Antonio Food Bank, or The Salvation Army.
