ROGERS
Carl Alan Rogers was born on August 13, 1956 in Pueblo, Colorado and passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014, at the age of 57.

On October 4th of 1991 he married the love of his life, Kathy Herrin.

Carl worked for Marek Brothers as a foreman for over 17 years in the drywall trade. He played a critical role in the construction of some of San Antonio's most prestigious buildings. Some of the projects that Carl managed included World Com Headquarters, McCombs Plaza, exterior at SAMMC, the Stone Oak Methodist Hospital, UHS Sky Tower, and the crown jewel of Carl's construction career, the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort. It is the largest Marriott in the world. Carl's talents and patience played a huge part in delivering this wonderful facility to San Antonio.

Carl was quietly passionate about his work. He was respected by co-workers as well as customers and was one of the most talented craftsmen of his trade. He loved hunting, fishing, building long bows and recurve bows, furniture making, rebuilding his Harley, tending to the farm and cattle, but he cherished spending time with family the most. Carl could tell stories that kept all engaged for hours. He enjoyed camping and was an excellent cook (especially Fajitas.)

Carl is preceded in death by his parents Delbert Eugene (Gene) Rogers and Evelyn (Terrill) Rogers, Paternal Grandparents, George & Beulah (Lawson) Rogers, Maternal Grandparents, Charlie & Clara (Harris) Terrill and sister, Tamara Rogers.
