Charles Staudt Obituary
Charles Joseph Staudt, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. Born in San Antonio to parents, Charles and Bertha Staudt, he was a life-long farmer and rancher. He retired from General Supply Company and was a lifetime member of the Carpenter's Union Local 14. Charles was an avid hunter and fisherman who also enjoyed making his own sausage and tending his vegetable garden. He was a long-standing member of the Bulverde Bowling Club and Community Center, and Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association. Charles was preceded in death by his great-grandson, Alexander Forster; and brothers, John and Wayne McNeill. He is survived by his wife, Dorice, with whom he would have been married 60 years this September; son, Charles E. "Eddie" Staudt (Peggy); daughter, Diane G. Ramsey (James); son, David A. Staudt; grandchildren, Jeremy Forster (Elizabeth), Brandon Forster (Jacqueline), Shannon Stockbridge (Dewey), and John Charles "J.C." Staudt; brother, Warren McNeill; and sisters, Doris Laubach and Lura Wurzbach. The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.

Rev. Don Olfsdahl will officiate. Interment will follow in Groenke-Staudt Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
