Our Mother, Rosie Anguiano went to join our Lord on June 10th. She passed peacefully and comfortably surrounded by her family on a beautiful afternoon in San Antonio. She was born on July 22, 1955 in Laredo, Texas to parents Carlos Miranda and Evangelina Ramirez. Her joy and passion, what she lived her life for, was her children. Rosie had a huge heart that was full of compassion and love. In recent years she took pleasure in soaking up the company of her grandchildren and finding new ways to entertain an enrich them. She was a dedicated worker and had been employed with USAA in the years leading up to her passing. Rosie Anguiano is predeceased by her father Carlos Miranda, her brother Carlos and sister Alicia. She is survived by her mother Evangelina, her husband Guadalupe and their children: Robert Anguiano and his wife Michelle, Raymond Anguiano and his wife Alexandra, Eric Anguiano, Michelle Anguiano and Paul Anguiano. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Isabella, Isaiah, Avianna and Liliana as well as many nieces and nephews. We will miss her spirit, her generosity and the warmth that accompanied her being. Although cut short, her life was full and she fulfilled her purpose in this life and touched more lives than even she knew of.
Her public viewing will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral on Bandera Rd on Saturday June 14th at 5:00-7:00pm with Rosary following at 7:00pm. Her Mass will be held at St. Anthony Claret Church on Roft Rd. on Monday June 16th at Noon.
