Sam Wong, Jr. entered into his perfect rest and God's loving arm on Friday, July 4, 2014, at the age of 62. His courageous fight against the cancer that weakened his body, but not his spirit spoke volumes of Sammy's strength, determination and fearlessness against all odds. That is who Sammy was and how we will remember him. His strength of character made him many lifelong friends and the determination to live life to the fullest was admirable. Sammy's kindness to many who were in need, is a testament to his good heart. He had a great love for the outdoors, especially fishing and water sports. He also had a great affection for his dogs. His love of life was contagious to all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his father Samuel Wong Sr.. He is survived by his three daughters; Jenny Wong, Michelle Wong Montemayor, and Megan Nicole McComb; his grandchildren Ashley Trevino, Julian Arias, Jacob Olivares, Jordan C. Escamilla, Genesis Wong, Hunter McComb and Adam McComb, his loving mother Isabel Wong, his brother Richard Wong, his sister Lisa Wong, and sister-in-law Diane Wong. " You are happy, healthy, and have no more pain my son; know that we will love and hold you in our hearts forever. Our joy is made complete knowing that you are with God in heaven and until we see you again, we will miss you. "
