Rogelio Segovia Flores, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2014. He had a life-long love affair with cars, trucks, telenovelas, Fiesta Week in San Antonio, and Dairy Queen ice cream cones. He was a devoted and loving husband to the late Maria Elena Flores, proud father and according to his granddaughter Sofia he "was always there for me and bought me cool toys." Rogelio was fond of storytelling and had great tales to tell about his Army tour of duty in Germany, jokingly sharing that he had to marry Maria Elena because she kidnapped him, his days as part of a stock car racing team and having to sell tamales until the sun was long gone. Born in San Antonio, Texas on June 27, 1942, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria Elena Flores and brothers Alberto and Harold Flores. Rogelio is survived by his daughter Theresa Anna Flores, son-in law, Ike Enahoro; son, Albert Arellano Flores; daughter-in-law, Yolanda Flores; grandchildren, Lilliana Theresa Flores, Diego Alberto Flores, Sofia Mariela Flores; sisters Amelia Soto, Irma DeLeon, Irene Delgado, Gloria Cale, Concha Luna, Rachel Perez, Rosie Westrup, and Lily Flores; and brothers Ignacio, Alfredo, and Alex Flores. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Porter Loring-Downtown.
