KASPER
On Thursday, July 31st our beloved "Grammy"-Mother and Grandmother passed from this life into the arms of our dear Lord and Savior and was finally reunited with their beloved husband- Rod. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Rose started her journey in San Antonio of February 11, 1929 and met and married the love of her life in Chicago in 1949-they were married almost 60 years. She was a devoted Army wife, loving wife and traveled the world with her husband and five children before retiring in San Antonio in 1967. She was so happy to be a mother and joyfully a grandmother to their eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In retirement, Rose and Rod continued to travel the world with their children and enjoyed their hobbies as ceramic and stained glass artists. She was an accomplished tailor and had an amazing ability with cross stitch work.
Rose was a founding and active member of the Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church since 1981. She is survived by her children: Carol (Floyd), Rod (Rita), Patricia (Patrick), Jack (Cindy), Christopher (Jenny) and grandchildren: Jennifer (Eddie), Jon, Kyle, Conner, Emily Rose, Kaitlyn, Christopher, Rebecca and great-grandchild Aly.
