Josephine Lozano Obituary
Mrs. Josephine Silva Lozano passed away on August 5, 2014 at the age of ninety-five. She was born in Laredo, Texas on August 12, 1918 to Perfecto Silva and Maria Cruz de Silva. Mrs. Lozano is preceded in death by her husband Enrique Gabriel Lozano, her son Henry Lozano, grandson Michael Lozano, her parents, two sisters, Elvira Ramos, Aurora Gutierrez and a brother, Jose Reyes Silva. She is survived by her daughters, Gloria DeLeon and husband Ralph, Diana Rivas, Sandra Cashwell and husband Dewey, sons Charles and Edward Lozano, nineteen grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Sylvia L. Hastings. Mrs. Lozano will be missed by everyone who knew her. She was a wonderful mother and she made every one of her grandchildren feel like they were her favorite. She was a fabulous cook,loved to shop and she also loved to travel with her family. There will be a visitation on Monday, August 11, 2014 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South from 6:00 - 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. There will be a procession from the funeral home on Tuesday, at 9:30 am for a Mass 10:00 am at Holy Name Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park South.
