Cooper Dean Floyd, age 15, passed away in San Antonio, Texas. Cooper was born on April 13, 1999 to Kevin and Christine Floyd. He attended school in the Northside ISD during his early years and his freshman year at Antonian College Prep School. Cooper was a lover of all types of music. What defined Cooper most was his love and passion for sports. He left no sport activity undiscovered. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and a former member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Cooper loved his family and his 2 brothers, and enjoyed spending time with his many friends (brothers and sisters in Christ). He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Johnnie McRae. Cooper is survived by his parents, Christine and Kevin Floyd; brothers, Wyatt Christopher and Presley Joel Floyd; maternal grandmother, Alice McRae; paternal grandparents, Carl and Evelyn Floyd, aunts and uncles: RoseAnn & Alex Ramirez, John and Cynthia McRae, Helen and Daniel Huerta (God Parents), Karin Floyd; cousins: January Vazquez (Miguel), Ryan Tejeda, Deirdre Bannister (Brad), Linnea Ivanisevic (Miso), Allison Huerta, Kristen Huerta, Orien Floyd and Savannah Floyd and extended family. Cooper had an infectious smile, touching all with his happiness. He will forever leave his handprint on our heart. If Cooper were still with us, he would say: "The best part of life is when your family become your friends, and your friends become your family."
