Danny Baertich Obituary

BAERTICH
Mr. Danny B. Baertich, lifelong resident of San Antonio born September 18, 1945, passed away March 9, 2010 at the age of 64. Danny served in the U.S. Marine Corp Reserve. He worked for over 18 years at CPS Energy prior to going into business for himself at Dan's Glass Company in 1982. People that knew Dan knew of his great love for his family as well as for hunting and Mud Racing. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy L. Baertich; his baby brother, Billy Charles Baertich; father and mother in law, Melvin and Vera Muenchow; a brother in law, Larry Sherbert; sisters in law: Debbie Baertich and JoAnn Shadrock; and a nephew, Travis Sherbert. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Sandra Baertich; sons: Danny Baertich, Jr., and wife Donna, Darren Baertich and wife Beverley, and Dylan Baertich; two sisters: Jessie Bates and husband John, and Wanda Sherbert; a brother, Billy Baertich; 4 grandchildren: Brittany Hensley and husband Bobby, Derek Baertich, Dakota Baertich, and Shylee Baertich; a great-grandson, Cohen "Coolio" Hensley; numerous nieces and nephews, a host of friends, including Special friend, Bert Mazac.
SERVICES
Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM on Sunday, March 14 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, March 15 at Mission Park South with interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South. I want to offer my condolences to all of you at Dan's glass. Dan made our jobs easier both as a glass contractor and using his contacts at CPS to get us meters. It has always been a pleasure to work with you guys and I am very sorry for your loss.
