Vivian Scheele Obituary
Vivian von Scheele born in Lockhart, Texas March 13, 1918 went to be with her Savior April 24, 2010, at age 92. She loved her family dearly and was the essence of hospitality to both family and friends. Her sense of humor and laughter will be with us always. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sports (especially the Spurs) and wrote poetry. Even after Vivian lost her eyesight she composed long poems in her mind and recited them; an incredible memory. Preceded in death by her husband Edgar von Scheele, she is survived by her son Edgar von Scheele and daughter Joyce (Rod) Keller; her grandchildren Dane (Kelly) Patrick Kae Lynn Patrick, Julie Gardner, Trey von Scheele, Timothy von Scheele, Vicky (Charlie) Lenz and Valerie (Edgar) Chew; 14 great grandchildren. We love her and miss her, but rejoice in knowing her eyesight is restored! A special thanks to all who care for her at the Forum and to her personal caregiver Nidia Alejandro. Visitation will be at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North,Friday, April 30, 2010 from 6PM to 8PM. Service will be at Trinity United Methodist Church, 6800 Wurzbach Rd., Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 10AM. Interment to follow at Mission Burial Park North. You may sign the on-line guest book at www.missionparks.com under the obituary section.
