THIENPONT
Alidor Ceasar Thienpont, born June 7, 1936, returned home to the Lord on Sept. 5, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Margaret Van Overdenberger Thienpont, sister Mary, and brother George Jr. He was a Belguim farmer and joined the Navy during the Korean War. After leaving the Navy he met the love of his life Evelyn Stolte. They were married on June 27, 1959. He went to work for Automotive Research where he retired. He is survived by wife of over 51 years, Evelyn Thienpont, daughters and son-in-laws, Cindy and James Stein, Donna and Steve Smith, son and daughter-in-law, Alidor D and TracAn Thienpont, daughters Cheryl Thienpont and Carol Thienpont, grandchildren, Jason Stein, Mark and Amber Thienpont, Alidor E Thienpont, RoseAn Thienpont, Luke Smith, Drake Smith, and Colby Thienpont, great grandchildren, Kaylee, Lana, and Mark Jr. Thienpont along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Friday, September 10, 2010 at St. Anthony Mary Claret Catholic Church, 6080 Roft Rd. with interment to follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Helotes.
