Barbara Bauml Obituary
In the early morning hours of Tuesday, November 2, 2010, our beloved Mother, Grandmother, sister-in-law and Aunt, Barbara H. Bauml, left this world to rejoin the Lord on All Soul's Day. Barbara was born in Brooklyn, New York, on September 17, 1924, and died at the age of 86, having lived a love-filled, healthy and very active life. She is preceded in death by her adoring husband, Joseph A. Bauml, parents Colonel Harry V. and Florence Hand, younger sisters, Florence Blakeslee and Grace Carmack and their husbands as well as in-laws B.K. and Eleanor Eiserloh, Catherine and Lee Grant, Sr., Louis and Helen Bauml, Jr. and Louis and Emma Bauml, Sr. She is survived by her loving sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Yvonne Bauml and Jim and Stacy Bauml, granddaughter Lauren N. Stein and her husband Lawrence, as well as grandsons, Andrew and Jonathon Bauml, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends who loved Barbara greatly. Barbara was a devout Catholic and member of Blessed Sacrament Church, an involved member of her community, and a strong, dynamic matriarch. She led by example having graduated from Gulfpark College in Gulfport, Mississippi and enthusiastically supported her husband and children in all their endeavors throughout their lives. She was an active member of St. Monica's Guild, Gibbons Literary Club, Blessed Sacrament Altar Society, and Daughters of the American Revolution. Barbara was committed to everyone she knew, and asked we share that she loved her family dearly and always cherished her friends. Her inner strength, courage, poise, love, laughter and friendship will be greatly missed but always remembered and admired. We are comforted in the fact that she is reunited with her husband, parents, sisters, friends and extended family and look forward to seeing her again in Heaven.
