Sheri Wasson Obituary
Sheri Wasson passed away on 4/1/11 at 51 years. Sheri had lived in San Antonio for 10 years, previously living in Wisconsin and California. She was a generous caring person who loved animals and the environment. She was a care-giver to her Mother for the past 30 years. Sheri was also a San Antonio Riverwalk Ambassador. Sheri was born in Denver, Colorado on 9/7/59 to Ken Wasson and Virginia Cline Wasson. She is survived by her parents, her sister, Lynn Simone and Lynn's husband Ron, and their children, Stephanie and Jonathan. At her request she is to be cremated. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to San Antonio Humane Society, PETA, or to Nature Conservancy. A gathering will be held to celebrate her life on Monday, 4/4/11 at 6PM at the Roosevelt Park Pavilion, 331 Roosevelt. Alcoholic Beverages NOT permitted.

I knew Sherri only too briefly when we both lived in Santa Cruz, CA. I am so sad to learn of her passing, she was an adventurous soul and had the nicest laugh. I will always remember the way she looked at me, always with a little mischief is those eyes. I have often wondered what might have been if I had taken her offer of moving to Wisconsin and "raising a passel of kids" as she put it. The world lost a great deal indeed. Sherri I will miss you terribly.
