Our deepest sympathy to Sal's wife, children, family and friends. Sal was a wonderful person, and the 1st person that my son could relate to and responded positively to. He helped my son and our family gravely. Sal you will be missed and thank you for all that you done for our family; mainly my son who was a troubled teen with a good heart. rest now and know that you have positively impacted so many teens and families. Heaven is one more strong.

Deepest sympathy,
The Wiggins Family

A great guy that I shared many times with. We started at Juv. Detention and worked in the field (probation). We both learned our profession as we went along often times leaning on each other. I am sorry my friend that I was not there for you at your time of need. I will alway miss your smile, your laugh, our chess games, and your up beat humor. My deepest sympathy to Sal's family. My prayers are with the his love ones.

My deepest sympathy to the Guerra family for the tragic loss of a dear friend. Sal was the consummate professional, who worked tirelessly for the good of delinquent children and their families. Prior to my retirement in 2008, Sal worked in my Division as a Court Officer and was promoted to Assistant Unit Supervisor of the Eastside Unit which validated his skills and hard work. Sal was a simple man, a gracious man with a heart of gold, who always had a smile on his face, a warm greeting for all, and an indescribable laugh. I wish I had known he was in pain and hurting - I could have reached out to him. Sal, I will miss you as will everyone you touched and their were many. Your now in the hands of our Lord and pain free. May you rest in peace - we love you and will miss you.
