Gary Wickwire Obituary
Gary Wickwire born March 26, 1948 went to be with the Lord March 3, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. Gary was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He went to St. Gerards School for 12 years. During his life he loved to play softball, hunt and bowl. He was involved several years with Pop Warner and CYO. He loved coaching his son and daughter with all the other children. He retired from City Public Service after 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents Russell & Verdie Wickwire and two brothers, Richard and Asa Wickwire. He is survived by his wife Pamela of 42 years, son, Mark Wickwire; daughter, Jennifer Wickwire Sjogren & husband Darin; brother, Ronald Wickwire of Maryland & wife Nettie, 2 grandsons who he loved dearly, Zander and Zachary Sjogren and numerous nephews and niece. Also, extended family from Arlington and Dallas. Visitation will take place Wednesday, March 7, 2012 5PM-7PM at Finch Funeral Chapel-La Vernia.

Pan and family,
I am saddened by your loss and a friend of my childhood. I have found memories of Gary ,as we grow up together on the south side of SA. (Westfall and Piedmont.). and the times we spent at the Boys Club,at my house , at his house and with all the other guys in the neighborhood.
