Frances Vlasak Stewart passed away on June 20, 2012 after a battle with cancer at the age of 84. She was married to Virgil A. Stewart, who predeceased her, for 57 years. Frances was the youngest of 5 siblings which included Frank, Adolph, Richard and Helen who have all predeceased her leaving Frances to end one great generation. She was very proud of her Czech heritage and for many years attended the Vlasak and Marek family reunions. Frances was a member of the Brooks AFB bowling league for several years and won/placed in several state tournaments. She loved and enjoyed gatherings with family and friends. Frances is survived by her daughter Kathryn Linton of San Antonio Texas and Elizabeth Weimer and husband Lee Weimer of Jackson, Tennessee, her grandchildren Bryan Harris, Laura Harris and Owen Weimer. Grandson, David Harris, predeceased her. Her great grandchildren Kara Koranek, Krista LeVesque and husband Ian LeVesque and Katie Koranek and great great grandchildren Joshua Koranek, David LeVesque and Madilynn Koranek. Before her passing, Frances was a member of 5 living generations. It was an honor and she will be missed. Although her passing is sad for her family, Frances was ready to join those she loved and cherished that were waiting for her in heaven. The family will receive visitors for viewing at Mission Park South on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. A service will be held at Mission Park South on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. with interment following at Ft.
