Born in San Antonio, Texas, on February 6, 1969 her family moved to Hondo where she grew up and attended high school before moving to San Antonio where she obtained a degree in Dental Hygiene from the UT Health Science Center. She worked as a Dental Hygienist for 17 years, had a true love for her profession and enjoyed getting to know her patients, many of whom became her close friends. She met the challenge of fighting breast cancer head on and taught many who knew her lessons in faith, courage, perseverance and strength.
