ROESLER
Robert Allen Roesler passed away peacefully in the arms of his wife, Carole, on December 9, 2012. Bob attended Brackenridge High School, where he played cornet in the band, San Antonio College, and the University of Texas in Austin. He was a United States Army Reservist. His career years were in Commercial Aviation as a Sales and Marketing Representative then District Director in Austin, San Antonio, Los Angeles, Miami, Washington D.C., and New York. Bob's extensive travels included New Zealand, Germany, England, Japan, United Arab Emirates, Argentina, Guatemala, Amazon River, and Machu Pichu, as well as the U.S. He was also in Commercial Real Estate Development and retired from Manatee County Government in central Florida. Bob's lifelong creative talents were diverse, including building a Soap Box Derby racer when he was 11 years old, furniture for his home, stereo system, oil painting and copper enameling. He especially enjoyed the outdoors whether biking in Southern California, skiing in Colorado, or hiking the Appalachian Trail in Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains with Carole. Bob was a man of great moral conscience, a generous and loyal friend, and loved and appreciated his large extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, George M. and Della Mae Roesler and brother, George. Gratitude and appreciation go to Bob's medical team at New Braunfels Cardiology, Canyon Lake EMS teams, neighbors, Irene and Frank, and beloved nephew, Douglas Britton.
