William H. Ehrhardt, age 87, passed away December 22, 2012, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born September 19, 1925, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Clarence and Hilda Ehrhardt. He was a Tech Sergeant in the Army and served in World War II in the European Theater. For his involvement and dedication he received recognition from Pope Paul II in 1983.
As Father Tom McGettrick wrote in his book "Inspired by Others", "Bill.that as he looks back on his long life, he must know that he has spent it well-as one of those people who have 'really got it right' when it comes to doing what is good".
He was married 63 years to Johanna Ruchti, who preceded him in death. Bill was also preceded in death by his brothers, C.A. and Robert, children Diane and Bryan and grandson, William "Trey" III.
