ARRIAGA
Monica Ivett Hernandez Arriaga, born on November 22, 1974, passed away on February 20, 2013 at the age of 38. She is survived by her husband, Miguel A. Arriaga; mother, Ana Celia Hernandez; daughters, Ivett Karla Salas Hernandez and Karyna Celeste Salas Hernandez; son, Ariel Guadalupe Salas Hernandez; brothers, Wilman Flores Hernandez, Ozmar Aldair Flores Hernandez, Romario Flores Hernandez, Eder Osvaldo Flores Hernandez and Juan Sergio Flores Hernandez; sisters, Dalma Carolina Flores Hernandez and Ana Araceli Flores Hernandez; numerous extended family and many friends.
Monica was a devoted wife and mother. She had a career as an insurance agent for American National Life Insurance Co. where she was able to help many people. She considered her clients to be her friends. Monica was happiest when she was surrounded by her family. She had a generous heart and was ready to help anyone who was in need. Her beautiful smile as well as her presence in our lives will be greatly missed. The family wishes to honor her request that we celebrate her life, by dressing in bright, pretty colors for the visitation and Rosary, and for everyone to dress in white on the day of the Funeral Mass and burial. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recitation of the Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. Procession will depart Hillcrest on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 9:30 AM for a 10:00 AM Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
