Obituary Condolences

Wilma Alice Pearce Black, born 3/13/1916 Moscow TN, died 1/10/2013 Pagosa Springs CO
Wilma moved to Texas from Tennessee in 1933 and married James Arthur Black in 1936. She had one son James born in 1942. She was a painter in later life, starting art lessons when she retired, joining the San Antonio RIver Art Group in La Vilita where she still has paintings on display. She moved to Colorado with her son in August of 2012. She is survived by her son, one sister, seven nieces and nephews. In her last days in this world in the hospital she said a wonderful thing. She said, "I have loved being here, every minute of it, but now it is time to go." Her ashes will be interred in a private service in her husband's grave at Southside Mission Burial Park in the Spring when the bluebonnets are blooming. She was a gentle and loving soul. She will be sorely missed
