ROBLEDO
David Garibay Robledo passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the age of 83. His love of God, Family and Country is a testimony as to how David lived his life. To God, David was truly his servant. He was religious, kind, and was "my brother's keeper" to everyone whose lives he touched. To Family, he was the doting and loving husband to Bertha ~ she was his life. To each of the extended family ~ he left us with wonderful memories, he gave us his all; those special trips to Kiddie Park, our first bus ride to town, Coney Island hotdogs, movies and going to the Gunter Hotel to purchase tickets to the boxing meets, his favorite sport. David even carried forth these traits during his service in the US Marine Corps where he became the Division Boxer. David served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He proudly earned numerous medals which included the Presidential Unit Citation-Oak Leaf Cluster. David is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Bertha D. Robledo; niece, Linda Marie; sister-in-law, Mimi Joyce and husband, Joseph; sisters: Lupe and Esther; brother, Arty; numerous other nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends and neighbors. "Hon, is there anything you need?" are his words that will always be felt in our hearts and heard in our minds. Visitation: Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
