Malcolm J. Barbin, 95
On July 1, 2013 Malcolm passed into everlasting life. He was born July 22, 1917 in Marksville, Louisiana. Malcolm served in WWII and the Korean War. It was at a USO dance that he met Edith Delsol. They married January 17, 1943 and had four children, Charles (deceased), David, Christine, and Mary. He is survived by his wife, three children, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Malcolm was a devoted family man of great integrity. He was a devout Catholic and a lifelong parishioner of St. Gregory Catholic Church. He worked at Kelly Air Force Base until he retired at age 68. He was an avid gardener.
Help celebrate Malcolm's life, on July 5th at 8:00 AM visitation followed by a rosary and mass at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 700 Dewhurst. Grave side service 10:45 AM, Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Wurzbach. Reception following.
