Arlene Chadwick Obituary
Mrs. Arlene W. Chadwick was born on April 11, 1933 to Quinn Wilson Jr. and Ethel Adams Wilson. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She departed this life peacefully on October 10, 2013 with her devoted husband by her side. She was preceded in death by her son Michael and three brothers Floyd, Theren and Leroy Wilson. She leaves her memory to be cherished by her "Sweetheart" and loving husband of 61 years Walter Chadwick, sons Stephen (Minia) and Paul (Dawn), grandchildren Justin Hairston, Deja Morrow, Clayton and Helana Chadwick and Victoria Tilley. She also leaves two sisters Cheryl Rose Wilson Smith(Bunny) and Quinn Olethya Wilson Dixon(Leetie). Visitation for Arlene will be October 16, 2013 from 5pm to 8m and a Celebration of Life will be held October 17, 2013 at 11:30a.m. Both services will be at Lewis Funeral Chapel located at 811 South W.W. White, San Antonio, TX 78220. Procession will follow to Fort Sam National Cemetery. A Memorial lunch will follow the interment at 2p.m. at Navajo Civic Center located at 2600 Rigsby, San Antonio, TX 78222.
The family would like to express gratitude for the many prayers, thoughts, acts of kindness, and expressions of love from friends, co-workers and church members during this time of sadness. A special Thanks to Pastor Ely Prieto for his faithful love and support.
