Ian Brooks Obituary
Ian Thomas Owen Brooks entered into rest on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the age of 21 years. Ian joyfully celebrated life to the fullest everyday with his love of people, trains, firetrucks, helicopters and construction equipment. He is survived by his mother, Susan Ward Brooks, sister, Blythe Brooks, Grandparents, Bill and Sue Ward and Cheryl and Leo Monk, Aunt Allison, and his father, Bradley Owen Brooks. The family will be receiving visitors on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. at Heritage Oaks Mortuary. Celebration of Ian's life will be on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church with Pastor Elder McCants officiating. Interment will follow at San Jose Burial Park Cemetery. I work withh all the kids at Highlands High School for his class. Ive never worked with Ian but i would work around him. He was sweet and a sleepy head:) he was so joyful and full of love. When i heard this news i felt heartbreak. He was so cheerful everyday. May You Rest In Peace Ian :)

Ian walked into Rogers Middle School and stole my heart. He had the bluest eyes-like the sky. And a smile, like the sun, that would brighten up a room. He will always be with me; When I hear a train or fire truck or just looking at the sky- his love is all around us, we just have to look. And one day, Ian I will see you again and we will read the train book together again. Love you
