Kelsey Hahnel Obituary
Kelsey Hallmark Hahnel, 36, peacefully passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015 in Austin, TX. She was born on May 7, 1979 in San Antonio, TX to Millard (Phil) Hallmark and Dianne Huff Hallmark.
After graduating from Churchill High School, she attended Texas State University in San Marcos, TX where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration. Upon graduating from college in 2001 she moved to Austin, TX with the love of her life, Brett Hahnel. They married September 27, 2003, and together have two beautiful children, daughter Avery, 7 and son Lane, 4.
Kelsey is survived by her loving husband, Brett Hahnel with their children Avery and Lane, parents Phil and Dianne Hallmark, brother Todd Hallmark, sister Stephanie Turbeville, nephews Trevor Crawford, Tristin Crawford and many other aunts, uncle and cousins to include a lifetime of friends whom all loved her very much. We cannot put into words how much she will be missed.
The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 PM on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Harrell Funeral Home in Dripping Springs. The service will take place at 10 AM on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Dripping Springs United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Hill Country Memorial Gardens in New Braunfels.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity that was closest to Kelsey's heart, Sunshine Hearts Of Austin, www.jaxonsfrogfoundation.com .
