Borge Hansen Obituary
Borge A. Hansen, age 84 of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015. He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on September 16, 1931. Borge graduated from high school in Copenhagen, Denmark. He was married to Brigitte on April 15, 1961. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hildur Bodil Alma Hansen.
He is survived by his wife, Brigitte; his son, Jeffery Hansen and his wife, Connie; granddaughter, Shelby; and 2 sisters and brothers-in-law.
Borge retired from the Army after 23 years. He was also involved with the Masons, the Shriners, the VFW, and the American Legion.
There will be a visitation on Monday, October 12th from 6-8 pm at Sunset Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at Sunset Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, October 13th at 12:00 pm with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

We are so sorry for your loss. Borge was a one of a kind man and one of the people who's memory I cherish most when I think of the loved ones who were apart of my childhood. I am so grateful for the wonderful memories and times spent together.
He will live on in our memories forever and through those memories he will continue to do what he has always done - make us laugh and smile. Thank you for the years of smiles, the prank kisses, laughter, jokes, Easter bunny visits and for fooling me for years that Santa clause was real and I knew actually him! We miss and love you.
