Manuel Villalobos Obituary
Manuel Villalobos, beloved son, father and brother, was called home by the Lord on Monday, February 1, 2016 at the age of 56. He was born on June 19, 1959 to Isidro and Mary Villalobos in San Antonio, TX. Manuel, also known as Manny, was a professional wrestler since 1983 and trainer who won two world championships in his career. He wrestled around the world and was best known for being a Texas Legend. He was preceded in death by his father, Isidro Villalobos. He is survived by his mother, Mary Villalobos; daughters, Vanessa Rodriguez (Eduardo Rodriguez) and Tasha Marlin; grandchildren, Zayda Rodriguez and Jax Levi Rodriguez; brothers, Isidro Villalobos, Jr., James Villalobos, Ted Villalobos, and Carlos Villalobos; sisters, Stella San Miguel, Frances Vasquez, Olga Villalobos, and Elizabeth Sanchez. Also left to cherish his memory are numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members, friends and fans.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016 from 3:00pm until 9:00pm with a rosary at 7:00pm at Castillo Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 9:30am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 152 Florencia. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
