Billie Frances Pearson went to be with her Lord Jesus on March19, 2017 in New Braunfels, Texas. She was 68 years old. She had been in poor health for a few years but still spiritually strong.
She was born June 15, 1948 in Houston, TX. She was a daughter of the late Francis Marion "Frank" and Billie Margret Killian Hale. Her parents moved to San Antonio, TX. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1966 and started attending Intenational Bible College in San Antonio. Music dominated her life. After a year of piano lessons, she taught herself to play the organ and wrote several spiritual songs.
In 1967 she married Lawrence Joseph Pearson and they became traveling ministers in the southern United States.
She worked for many years for Bethesda Christian Institute in their school office as secretary and also played the organ for church services. She worked for about 10 years with West Telemarketing.
She is predeceased by her parents; step-brothers, Frank C Hale, James C Hale, and Richard E Kent; a grandson, Nathan Pearson; and two nephews, Ronald Salyards and Shannon Carr.
Survivors include her son, Larry J Pearson and wife Diana; three grandchildren, Destinie, Ethan and Meghan Pearson; brother, Richard A (Carola) Foley of Garland, TX; a sister Linda (Jeff) Carr of Converse, TX; a step-sister Joyce E (Leroy) Salyards of Hallsville, TX; a step-brother Stephen W Hale; nieces, nephews and many friends.
A memorial service will be held on 30 Mar 2017 at 6:30 pm at Bethesda Christian Institute at 2210 Basse Rd, San Antonio, TX 78213 with Rev JV Foster officiating.
