Ann Foderaro Obituary

Ann M. Foderaro went to be with the Lord on August 28th, 2004. She was born on October 1st, 1916 in Scranton, PA to Margaret and Martin Wynn. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Edward Foderaro; her sister, Marie Bauer; and her brothers, Donald Wynn and Edward Wynn. She is survived by her daughter, Mirisa Kintaro of Anchorage AK; son, Bob Foderaro and friend Joe Lacomy of San Antonio, TX, Jim Foderaro and his wife Betsy Dippo of San Antonio, TX; her grandchildren, Jillian Arnold, Brian Foderaro, Mattew Dippo, Melissa Dippo, Brooke Dippo-Foderaro; her great-grandson, Jakob Arnold; numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth & Jan Wynn of Stratford, CN; brother in-law, Fred Bauer of Silver Spring, MD; sisters-in-law Joan Wynn of Scranton, PA, Estelle Wynn of Willingboro, NJ, Lillian Botke and Rita Woznieski of Newport, PA; brother and sister-in-law Tony and Rita Foderaro of State College, PA. Ann attended St. John's Catholic School in South Scranton and Scranton Technical High School. She worked at Consolidated Molded Products before starting her family. Ann was a dedicated homemaker while raising her children and was a very active member of Christ the King Catholic Parish in Dunmore, PA where she served several years as the president of the Altar and Rosary Society. When the children grew older, she took a position at Riesman's Bookstore in Scranton where she worked for many years. Following the death of her husband in 1993, Ann moved to San Antonio to be closer to her children. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 3, 2004 at 7:00 P.M. at the Miller Bean Funeral Home, 436 Cedar Ave., Scranton, PA. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 4, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at St. John's Catholic Church in South Scranton. Internment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Vitas Hospice, 8109 Fredericksburg Rd., San Antonio, TX 78229, Warm Springs Wound Care Center, 5101 Medical Dr., San Antonio, TX 78229 or the charity of your choice.
