John Bocko Obituary

Sgt. John Bocko, 40, of the San Antonio Police Department, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2007, in San Antonio. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Bocko, Sr. He is survived by 4 children, Henry, Jessica, Justice, and Cecelia of San Antonio; his mother, Betty Weinman and husband Jim of San Marcos; his soul mate, Eloisa Mondragnon of San Antonio, 4 siblings, Donald G. Bocko, Jr. of San Antonio, Beverly Heacker of Pflugerville, TX, James Bocko of Post, TX, and Cynthia Mays of Cedar Park, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough, San Antonio. PROCESSION TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2007 9:45 A.M. PORTER LORING MORTUARY 1101 McCULLOUGH SERVICE 11:00 A.M. COMMUNITY BIBLE CHURCH 2477 N. LOOP 1604 EAST The Rev. Earl Belver, Pastor Robert Emmitt, and Chaplain Sam Spencer officiating. My heart is breaking for Bocko's family. I was blessed to work with him and will remember him as a devoted father, friend and officer.I met Jessica at a pretrial and got to see first hand what an outstanding daddy he was. Bocko was spaecial to me and I will never forget him. We lost a true good guy. If his kids need anything please contact me.
