ROMO, EPIFANIO SAUCEDO Epifanio Saucedo Romo, 88, of El Cajon, passed away February 13, 2013. He was born on April 7, 1924 in El Meson de Los Sauces, Jalisco, México, the eldest of 7, and is survived by his loving wife Altagracia Duardo Romo of 69 years; his 6 children, 22 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchild-ren; and 4 siblings. In the 1940's, he was hired through the USA Bracero program and immigrated to the United States in 1954. In 1957 he joined the Laborer's Union Local #89 until his retirement in 1981. His love for nature continued as he stayed busy in his garden. He will be remembered for his love of family, patience and charismatic sense of humor. Viewing Sunday, Feb. 24th, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Glen Abbey Mortuary, 3838 Bonita Rd., Bonita. A Memorial Service will be officiated on Monday, Feb. 25th at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1770 Kearney Ave., San Diego. The Graveside service will follow at Glen Abbey Cemetery.
