Clifford T. Pentrack

Pentrack, Clifford T. 03/07/1935 ~ 05/01/2013 DEL CERRO -- Born in Johnstown, PA, Cliff grew up in Cleveland, OH, and attended Cathedral Latin High and John Carroll University. He joined the United States Marine Corp. in 1956. After completing his service in the military, he began his career as a lineman for Cleveland Bell. From Cleveland he transferred to Los Angeles, CA, residing in Manhattan Beach. Later in his career, he settled in San Diego, CA. He retired from a Pacific Bell Management position 1990. During retirement he served on the San Carlos Community Council and volunteered with RSVP Traffic Patrol for 10 years. He was fine man of subtle wit and little pretense. He was a good man, a "gentle man," a Marine. Services will be at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery (619-553- 2084) on May 30, 2013. The escort car will leave the Fort Rosecrans Office promptly at 2:00 p.m. for a half hour service held outside on the lawn. If you are attending, please arrive early. In lieu of flowers, contributions could instead be used to take yourself and a loved one out for a special time. Another suggestion that would honor his memory might be a donation to The Christward Ministry, 20560 Questhaven Road, San Marcos, CA 92078 or where he went for his week long annual retreats.
