Donna J. Brentlinger

Brentlinger, Donna J. SAN DIEGO -- Passed away peacefully on July 27, 2013 after saying goodbye to her loved ones. Donna was born in Western Grove, Arkansas and traveled with her parents to "Californy" during the Great Depression and said Steinbeck's Grapes of Wrath was the story of her family. Donna grew up in the Santa Clara valley moving to San Diego in 1969. She worked at Wells Fargo Bank (San Diego Federal) until 1992 retiring as manager of the Mission Hills branch. Donna loved her customers at the bank, was an avid Giants then Padres fan, and loved to work crossword puzzles and clip her coupons. Donna is survived by her husband of 60 years, Don; children Brian, Karen, and Marla; 11 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Services today, Tuesday, July 30, 2013, 11 a.m. at Featheringill Mortuary Chapel, 6322 El Cajon Blvd.
