ET Lipscomb Jr.

Lipscomb, ET Jr. SAN DIEGO -- ET Lipscomb, Jr. passed away June 25, 2013, after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Juanita and three stepsons, Mike, Pat, and Russell. He received his BS degree in Physics from San Diego State University in 1961 and his MBA from National University in San Diego in 1977. He worked at General Dynamics Space Systems Division in San Diego and was a Senior Engineering Specialist in advanced systems and responsible for conceptual design and analysis of space based array radar systems for 33 years. He served in the U.S. Naval Air Rework Facility in San Diego as an Electronic Engineer. He was in the U.S. Navy from 1947 to 1957 and was in charge of aviation electronics line crew responsible for trouble shooting, repair, maintenance and calibration of electronics equipment installed in drone and command and control jet aircraft. He was also a pilot. He was author and co-author of many publications pertaining to Microwaves with Exploding Wires, the Physics of Fluids and other technical issues pertaining to engineering, and he was a member of several technical societies. He owned a real estate company in San Diego, and he was an enrolled agent for Internal Revenue. ET was born in Missouri, but he was a longterm resident of San Diego, California.
