HALL, FERN ANNE ADDINGTON Fern Anne Addington Hall, 90, resident of La Mesa, passed away on January 19, 2013. She was born in Dinuba, CA, on March 3, 1922. She married E. Harrison Hall in 1943 and was proud that he was Vice President at Grossmont College from 1969 until the end of his life in 1976. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grand-children. She had a sweet spirit and lived life with optimism. She felt that life is wondrous. She appreciated beauty around us, in music, in nature, and in the human spirit. She saw the goodness in everyone. She was a teacher for over 40 years and she understood that we can make a difference with good works and a smile. From her, we learned gentleness, patience, kindness, bravery, generosity, faithfulness, and forgiveness. She taught us the true meaning of consistent, unfailing and unconditional love. She is survived by her three daughters, Lynette, Donna, Lora and their families. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at 3 p.m., at the La Mesa First United Methodist Church, 4690 Palm Ave, La Mesa, CA, 91941.
