Jewel Colvin

Jewel Colvin, 79 FALLBROOK -- Jewel Colvin, 79, passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, at Fallbrook Hospital after a battle with cancer and pneumonia. He was born in Louisiana, to Gertrude and Howard Colvin, and lived in the southern United States until after he married and moved to California with his bride, Christine. The couple resided in Downey for 34 years, then moved to Fallbrook after a few years residing in Chico, Calif. They resided in Fallbrook since 2001, when all their children moved to this area. Jewel is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Christine; daughter, Jodie Padilla; son-in-law, James Padilla of Temecula; daughter, Pamela Lind of Murrieta; granddaughters, Jillian and Jamie Padilla of Temecula and Stephanie Lind-Duenas and her husband, Jeremy Duenas of Orange, Calif. Jewel was from a large family of 10 children with many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his family, extended relatives and many friends. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at Berry, Bell & Hall Mortuary in Fallbrook. Sign the Guest Book online
