JULIA GRACE McBRIDE

Mc BRIDE, JULIA GRACE October 18th, 1921 to November 20th, 2012 Julia was born in San Diego California, the youngest of five siblings. After graduation from Hoover High she worked as a telephone operator until her marriage to Arthur C. Mc Bride Jr. in March of 1942. Julia later returned to part time work for the telephone company as a clerical worker, maintaining a perfect attendance record. Julia was a member and past President of Club Amistad, also an active member of the La Jolla Women's Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Jr., one brother, three sisters, and her grandson, Grant. Julia is survived by her two sons, Arthur C. III (JoAnn), and Rodney G. (Vicki), four grandchildren Jim, Stacy (Jose), Justin, and Matt, great-grandson Ryland, great-granddaughter Kaitlyn, five nieces Mary, Joan, Dorothy, Betty Jean, Marilyn, eleven grandnieces and grand-nephews, and seventeen great-grandnieces and great-grand-nephews. She has returned to God and she will be missed by her Family. May she rest in Peace. At Julia's request, cremation, followed with a private Celebration of Life, and the scattering of her ashes at sea are planned. Arrangements are being handled by American Cremation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Sharps Hospice.
