iconBELLON, LEO JOHN February 14, 1922 to August 13, 2012 Leo, surrounded by his entire family, died of natural causes on Monday, August 13, 2012. He had recently celebrated his 90th birthday on February 14, 2012, with his loving family and friends. Leo was born in Lehr, North Dakota and entered the Navy in July 1940. He served during World War II in the Asiatic-Pacific, Philippine Liberation, American Defense, American Campaign, WW II Victory, National Defense, and Korean Service. After 20 years he retired as Warrant Officer CHBOSN W-3. He then owned Medi-Clean, a 22 unit apartment complex and Sir Leo's Smorgasbord. After 65 years of marriage, Leo is survived by his wife Kay, children Richard, Rosalind and Patricia and son-in-law Scott; six grandchildren, Lisa, Michael, Harrison, Maxwell, Audrey and Claire; a brother John and sister-in-law Linda, sisters Virginia and Jalene, nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law Jane. Visitation is on Friday, August 17th, at Goodbody Mortuary from 4 to 8. Funeral Mass is on Monday, August 20th, at St. Therese Catholic Church at 10 a.m., with entombment at Holy Cross following reception. www.gooddbodymortuary.com
