Leslie Paul Brown(1930 - 2013)

Brown, Leslie Paul ESCONDIDO -- Leslie Paul Brown, 83, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Palomar Hospital in Escondido. He was born on January 11, 1930, in Santa Barbara, Calif. Mr. Brown lived in Escondido for 60 years. He was a Deputy Sheriff of San Diego County for 27 years, and then worked in Security at Palomar Hospital. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Celia Brown; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Ray King; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Phil Cushman; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Candace Brown; son, Steve Brown; sisters and brother-in-law, Jean Benson, Pat and Bob Simpson; sister-in-law, Charlotte Brown; grandchildren, Lisa, Charles, David, Michelle, Victor, Michael, Mark, LeAnn, Jeffery, and Emilee; and 11 great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, David C. Brown. The Rosary will be recited at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 14, at the Church of the Resurrection in Escondido with the Funeral Mass to follow at 12 noon. The Committal will be at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Escondido. Arrangements are by Alhiser-Comer Mortuary.
