Mary A. Hafner

Hafner, Mary A. 07/25/1926 ~ 01/26/2013 VISTA -- Mary Ann Hafner was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to her parents, Ann and Mike Hafner. She graduated from the University of Minnesota where she majored in Art. She and her parents moved to Garden Grove, California in 1959. She had an award winning career in advertising at the Long Beach Independent Press Telegram newspaper. Mary always loved to travel and was active in the Catholic Church. Upon retiring, she moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico, where she volunteered as a docent at the historic San Albino Church in Old Mesilla. Three years ago, Mary returned to Southern California to be closer to family. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Gerald Hafner. She is survived by her niece, Karen Hafner; and her nephews, Michael and Christopher Hafner.
