Virginia R. Corison

Virginia R. Corison, 84 FALLBROOK -- Virginia R. Corison passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2009. Mrs. Corison was very active in the community of Fallbrook. She moved to Fallbrook in 1961, at that time she became a member of St Johns Episcopal Church, where she has been the longest attending member. She also enjoyed volunteering for the Fallbrook Senior Center, St. Johns Thrift Shop, Fallbrook Convalescent Home and St. Johns Episcopal Church. She was also a member of Soroptimist, Fallbrook Senior Citizens Service Club, Ladies Auxiliary VFW of Fallbrook, and a Life member of Gold Star Wives of America. In her spare time she worked as an accountant for over 35 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Russell Corison; brother, Norman Redfern; and her parents, George and Marion Redfern. She is survived by her three sons, Tom Corison (Teresa) of Mansfield, Tenn., Norman Corison of Sacramento, Calif., and Craig Corison of Fallbrook, Calif.; one granddaughter, Carol Harvey (Todd) of Redding, Calif.; one grandson, Tiny Corison (Bianca) of Redding; and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. Johns Episcopal Church in Fallbrook, Calif.
